7-Year-Old Boy’s Act of Kindness Helped a Puerto Rican Elementary School Restore Their Electricity After 5 Months of darkness after Hurricane Irma
Avery Huddleston, a 7-year-old boy from Illinois, decided that he didn’t want any presents for his birthday. Instead, he asked people from his community to donate school supplies to be distributed to schools in Puerto Rico. Little did he know, his act of kindness led to a bigger surprise than anyone ever imagined.
Ameren, one of the electric companies that deploy workers and support personnel to speed up the process of restoring electricity to Puerto Rico, agreed to deliver the supplies to different schools in Puerto Rico.
