DASH Diet: New Study Reveals It Could Lower Risk Of Depression
Apparently, while the DASH diet is great for treating high-blood pressure, it also has other benefits, such as dealing with the risk of depression.
Researchers from the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago conducted a study to examine the role of diet on depression, and found a positive correlation between eating vegetables, fruits and whole grains with low levels of depression. The study and its findings will be presented at the American Academy of Neurology’s 70th Annual Meeting in Los Angeles this April 21 to 27, 2018.
